About mobile device management
Mobile devices need the same security discipline as laptops. Telappliant MDM uses Microsoft Intune or Jamf - matched to your platform mix - to enforce policy, deploy apps, separate corporate and personal data, and respond when devices are lost or stolen.
Enrolment supports corporate-owned, COPE and BYOD. Each model gets its own policy set - tighter on corporate, lighter touch on BYOD - with corporate data segregated so users keep personal control over their device.
Security policies cover passcode strength, encryption, jailbreak/root detection, application allow/block, network restrictions and compliance check-in. Devices out of compliance lose access to corporate apps via conditional access until they remediate.
Application deployment uses managed app stores - users get a curated list of business apps, configured ready to use. App updates, retirement and licence management are handled centrally.
When devices are lost or staff leave, we can remote-wipe corporate data (selective wipe on BYOD), revoke access tokens and re-enrol replacement devices in minutes.
