SOGEA Business Broadband
Single-Order Generic Ethernet Access - business broadband without a phone line, designed for the post-ISDN world.

About sogea business broadband
SOGEA delivers FTTC speeds over copper without bundling a phone line you no longer need. With ISDN switch-off in 2027, most businesses are moving to cloud telephony - and SOGEA gives them a broadband product designed around that.
Telappliant provides SOGEA across the UK with business-class SLAs, static IP and prioritisation for VoIP. It is usually the right answer where FTTP is not yet available but the business has already cut over to SIP or cloud PBX.
Speeds up to 80 Mbps down and 20 Mbps up are typical. Where higher upload is needed, we recommend FTTP if available, or pair SOGEA with a 4G/5G link via SD-WAN.
Installation is project-managed end to end. Where the line is already in your building, the cut-over is rapid. Where new copper is needed, we run the Openreach order and configure the router for collection.
Like all our connectivity products, SOGEA is monitored 24/7 from our NOC with proactive fault management. Faults are typically detected and ticketed with Openreach before users notice degradation.
