NGFW with IPS handles east-west and north-south traffic with deep inspection, application control, sandboxing and SSL decryption where appropriate. Threat-intelligence feeds keep signatures current.
ZTNA replaces traditional VPN for hybrid workforce. Users authenticate to specific applications rather than the whole network, with continuous posture checks - if a device falls out of compliance, access drops.
DNS security catches the early phase of most attacks - command-and-control, phishing destinations and known-bad infrastructure - at the DNS resolver, before the connection is even attempted.
